Cogar Announces Name Change to Represent New Company Vision
Beckley, WV (August 2008) - Cogar Mine Supply, Inc. is announcing a name change to COGAR MANUFACTURING, INC. The name change is consistent with their goals to increase Cogar’s presence and product identity into new markets and product lines.
At the MINEXPO in Las Vegas, September 22 -24, 2008, Cogar Manufacturing will be displaying their new direct drive crusher for feeder breakers in underground and surface applications. In addition, the new conveyor chain and larger 20” wide crawlers for better mobility of larger machines will be on display.
Cogar is also announcing the new construction of additional warehouse space and the opening of a service and parts facility in Petersburg, Indiana. Ground is being broken for a new 6000 square foot fabrication shop to help meet the market demands.
Cogar Manufacturing continues to offer new products for various material handling applications and are currently working in the mining of coal, salt and potash. New markets and models are being developed for various industrial systems including areas of power generation and petroleum coke facilities. New solutions including diesel-powered feeders are in the field and are helping the industry meet the energy requirements.
